The Info tab holds the customer and fulfilment details for the order.
- Phone Lines: when Caller ID devices are connected, incoming numbers can appear automatically. Selecting a number can show saved addresses and previous orders.
- Customer Info: enter order time, delivery fee, notes, and customer details. Existing customers can be found by entering all or part of their phone number.
- Address: for Delivery orders, enter the address manually, locate it by postcode, or select it from the map. If the address is within the configured delivery area, GrubPOS calculates the delivery fee using the configured delivery settings.
- History: for an existing customer, review previous orders and use Re-order when required.
Delivery-area warning: The guide states that GrubPOS warns when an address is outside the configured delivery area, but the warning itself does not prevent the order from being placed.
