System Settings Reference

The supplied GrubPOS guide documents the following System Settings groups. Some options affect only the current station while others affect store-wide or website behaviour.

Information

• Restaurant Name and Restaurant Phone.
• EPOS Service — services available on stations, such as Delivery, Eat-in, Pickup, and Takeaway.
• Street, Post Code, City, and State.
• About Us — description shown on the store website.

Orders

• Delivery Order — minimum/maximum order amount and estimated preparation time for delivery.
• Collection Order — minimum/maximum amount and estimated preparation time for Pickup/Takeaway.
• Dining Order — minimum/maximum amount and estimated preparation time for Eat-in.
• Delivery Order Number Start From — starting daily order number for the current station.
• Tip and Default Tip.
• Auto Accept Online Orders.
• Open Cash Drawer After Order.
• Show PIN Box After Order.
• Don’t Receive Online Order on This Station.
• Mandatory Table Selection for Eat-in Orders.
• Mandatory Entry of the Number of Guests.

Website

• Service — choose which services are available online.
• Enable Surprise Option — allows the configured surprise receipt behaviour when eligibility conditions are met.
• Button Surprise Text / Receipt Surprise Text.
• Background and Logo — website menu branding.
• Store Website Message — text shown at the top of the website.
• Close/Open — operating days and hours; two working periods can be configured for a day when the store operates split shifts.

Payment

• Default Payment Gateway — default method for kiosk and online orders.
• Free Table After Pay Order — automatically release an occupied table after payment for an Eat-in order.
• Service Charge — percentage service charge added to Eat-in orders.

Delivery

• Free Delivery Above Sub Total Order.
• Delivery Charge — default delivery fee.
• Delivery Distance Covered — maximum delivery distance.

Style

• Don’t Show Chair Tables.
• Show Changed Adding — display additional basket details.
• Combine Same Items in Basket — combine items with matching size/content to reduce duplicate basket lines.

Print

• Do Not Automatically Print the Customer Receipt.
• Do Not Print Customer Receipt After Edit Order.
• Do Not Auto Print Item Label on Receive New Order.
• Print Distance Delivery on Receipt.
• Print Customer Receipt After Pay.
• Customer Footer Message.

Report

• Include Online Order in Z Report.
• Delete Cancelled Orders After Z Report.

Others

• Accept Pre Orders — allow future-time orders outside current opening hours when configured.
• Disabled Ordering — stop receiving online orders.
• Close Store — show the configured Close Message on the website.
• Holidays — define store holiday dates.
• Holiday Message — message shown during configured holidays.
